Usually, when we have an audio clip to share, we embed it after the jump or down at the bottom of a post. To make sure that everyone knows exactly what Derek Zupancic, CEO of HydrolectricPower LLC, has to say about his onboard HH2 Hydrogen Generator Clean Air Combustion System, we present him in his own words (you can also download the 6.4 MB file):
Got all that? The short version of the technology: water in the fuel cell is electrolyzed from energy in the battery and the hydrogen and oxygen are then then put into the air cleaner, separately, to create a cleaner burn and that reduces emissions. The reason he’s invested so much money into the system is because he’s worried about the effects of tailpipe emissions on honey bees and people’s health, especially children. The inspirational article that he was inspired by is this one. HH2 is at the LA Auto Show every year, and we’re willing to see what our readers have to say about the system. Again.
