High Gear Media offers Tesla Roadster test drive contest

Of all the eco-minded cars on the road today, the Tesla Roadster is the most fun. Straight up. If you want to take a spin behind the wheel, Tesla Motors and High Gear Media would like to offer you a chance to do just that. The partially-user-generated High Gear Media network is looking for even more writers (they have about 200 now) through a writing contest. The best writer will get to test drive the 2010 Tesla Roadster Sport in California’s Silicon Valley and sit down to talk with Tesla Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen (ask him about the Model S!).

The winner will be selected by High Gear editors based on the quality of the writing - so no junk. After the drive, High Gear will pay the winner to write up a review, something like this. The contest runs through the end of the year.
