After overcoming myriad mountains and monkey-wrenches, the MyCar CV.2 is now officially available and being delivered to customers. Most recently rescued by London electric vehicle retailer EVstores, after the NICE Car Company went into administration (and later emerged as an Axiam-only distributor), the MyCar offers a relatively affordable entrée into the electric car world with an on-the-road price tag of £9,995 ($16,520). With its 40 mph and 35- to 60-mile range city-car performance, the two-seater should fill a niche for certain urban-dwellers who need to flit about city centers without worrying about congestion charge costs. The first recipient has stated that, “It will be perfect for my commute!”

What’s next for the fledgling marque? Mention of a CV.4 model on the Hong Kong-based manufacturer’s website leads us to believe a stretched version with seating for four is in the works. As it looks much better in motion than it does in the showroom, hit the jump for a little promotional video action of the newest electric car on the streets of London.
