Yes, there were plenty of electric, hybrid, ethanol and diesel vehicles here at the Chicago Auto Show. There are even some cars and trucks that use some combination of multiple green fuels or powertrains. But those are expected and they aren’t necessarily the greenest or most environmentally friendly vehicles in attendance. Really, when it boils down to it, aren’t the most environmentally friendly machines one powered by our own energy?
If that’s the case, what we have here is the gallery of the greenest vehicles in Chicago. We have bicycles, kayaks and pedal cars all represented… as well as a couple of electric kid-movers and a radio controlled car or two, just for fun. Oh, and one powered by gravity.
